A new study contends says that smoking pot doesn't lead to people trying harder drugs. Something marijuana legalization advocates have contended all along. Wow. Really? Who knew.

Most hard drug users will tell you that they started out using marijuana, but what the Government doesn't want you to know is the percentage of marijuana users who don't use hard drugs.

Marijuana is not a gateway drug. If anything, it really boils down to not not properly identifying addictive personalities.

Cannabis is a natural plant. Prescribed by certified Physicians for medicinal use. Ask anyone with their card. A process
which takes time due to state/federal laws.

The fact that kids become addicts due to prescription pain killers, we must ask who supplies it to them? Who is the source? The " at risk youth" are young, confused and scared. They self medicate to get high, get hooked. They may suffer
from depression, isolation. Not having the coping skills needed; they fall through the cracks in society. All they are concerned with--getting their next fix. The whole family suffers.

So many resources are available for concerned parents, citizens. Support groups, literature, great web-sites. Hospitals,
schools, churches, libraries, community centers. Crisis intervention. The support teams are always available.

If you need help, one must take the first step within myself. Nothing to be ashamed about. i have lost cousins, their lives cut short by hard-core drugs. East LA. and in the high desert of California. Strung out at age 13. Dead by 20.
Aunts' and Uncles; still weeping. A cousin's daughter; gang banged, some idiot slipped an unknown substance in
her drink. After having their sick fun, they OD'd her and left her to expire. Her dad, my cousin still heart broken.
Time has stopped for him. That was 26 years ago. The family list would take a while to write.

The authors or scientists stated that the study does not answer the question. We are left to think about this problem
derive solutions. If A than B or maybe D.....
